HEADS UP TO ALL OF OUR FANS, FRIENDS AND CUSTOMERS!!!!  THIS IS A MUST READ!!!

THE ANIMAL RIGHTS EXTREMISTS ARE TRYING TO SNEAK IN A MILWAUKEE ORDINANCE AND IT WILL AFFECT ALL MILWAUKEE RESIDENTS IN THE FUTURE

They posted the following on their facebook page and invited a select group of supporters to attend:

"Attend this meeting! Support an ordinance that will bring an end to pet mill cruelty and save the lives of more Milwaukee homeless animals! The Milwaukee Common Council will soon consider an ordinance to prohibit pet stores from selling commercially bred dogs, cats and rabbits unless they come from shelters or rescue groups. The ordinance is going to be introduced to the Public Safety Committee for a public hearing and initial vote on May 1 at 9:00am at City Hall. A representative from Best Friends Animal Society will be flying in to testify at the meeting. The public will be allowed to comment as well."

The public has NOT been notified of this meeting. They are trying to quietly get this ordinance passed without the public knowledge or approval.

A keynote to consider: Milwaukee County Humane Society has a dirty little secret...they state “to save the lives of Milwaukee homeless animals” when they actually truck in a VERY HIGH percentage of their puppies/dogs from southern states to sell to fund their beautiful new facility. They are actually puppy/dog resellers that are trying to eliminate what they feel is their competition.

If you want to have the companion pet of YOUR choice in the future, from the person/place of YOUR choice please attend the Public Safety Committee at Milwaukee’s City Hall (200 E Wells St, Milwaukee, WI 53202, Room 301-B) on Thursday, May 1 at 9:00 a.m. to voice your opposition of this unfair ordinance

Milwaukee Citizens, Stand up for your rights and make your voice heard to the alderman. Do not allow this small group of people determine where you can or can not purchase a pet from.

If you can not attend the meeting, please contact these officials ASAP to protest this ordinance and protect your right and freedom to purchase your puppy/kitten/rabbit from where or whom you choose.  Why should the city be able to take this freedom of choice away from you?
